Making Your Wedding Uniquely Yours
The breathtaking scenery of Broken Bow offers a stunning backdrop for any wedding, but how do you ensure your special day is a true reflection of you and your partner? It’s common to browse venue galleries and notice that many celebrations appear similar, especially when using standard décor. While saving money by utilizing available decorations is practical, you also want your wedding photos to stand out and capture your unique style.

Details That Make a Difference
Every wedding is made memorable through thoughtful details. Here are several creative ways couples have personalized our venue, leaving a distinctive mark on their celebration.
Classic Black and White
One couple added a custom-built arch, featuring a striking black backboard to contrast with the venue’s white walls. The unique shape of the arch, along with the dramatic color difference, made their ceremony visually distinctive. They also introduced two small cake tables, a wooden sweetheart table, and upholstered chairs, creating an enchanting setting for their magical day.

Light the Night
Wrapping the trees at the ceremony space added a romantic flair to this couple’s forest wedding. They strung outdoor lights from the pergola as well creating a magical atmosphere for guests to spend time outdoors. It also created the perfect backdrop for their sparkler departure.

Arches and Altars
Another example of personalization is this teepee arch rented by a couple for their spring wedding, which brought a fresh and original element to the ceremony. Additionally, one bride wrapped chicken wire around the front of our pergola and filled it with baby’s breath, resulting in a romantic altar perfect for a springtime celebration.

Rustic Romance
To achieve a rustic romantic ambiance, one couple brought in barrels, which were used both as a dessert table and for decorative touches throughout the room. They also introduced a rustic piece of furniture to serve drinks, filling it with mason jars for guests to use.

Leave a Message
Creating memories for the couple to cherish, one wedding featured a phone guestbook. Guests could leave voicemail messages for the newlyweds, with the phone displayed on a modern shelf alongside instructions and a neon sign, making the experience both fun and memorable.

Columns
White columns lined the ceremony aisle at another wedding, with each column positioned at the end of every row of seats and adorned with white bouquets, adding elegance and structure to the ceremony space.

Rawhide and Branding
Several guests enjoy bringing in cowhide rugs to add a rustic flare to their wedding ceremony and reception. One couple chose to add a cow skull to the pergola for even more rustic style. And these couples love to share their style with guests by including a branding as part of their ceremony.

Whimsical Seating
For a touch of whimsy, a couple incorporated benches into their forest wedding, providing extra seating and charming photo opportunities. The wooden bench, surrounded by lush ferns, made an ideal backdrop for family photos and captured the woodland atmosphere beautifully.

Photo Walls
Couples often use venue furniture pieces to create unique photo walls. One couple covered our wooden backdrop with greenery and a neon sign featuring their last name. Another couple created a romantic photo wall by using our arch with draped fabric and a solid sheet as the backdrop, customizing the space to suit their vision.

Cocoa Bar
Adding a cozy touch to a winter wedding, one couple set up a hot cocoa bar for their guests. The setup included cocoa, coffee, hot tea, a large urn for hot water, personalized coffee cups, and a selection of delicious toppings, ensuring guests stayed warm and comfortable.

Personalized Signage
Personalized signage is a favorite among couples, with metal monogram signs hung on wooden walls and wooden family name signs displayed at the entrance or ceremony space. A family name sign on the guestbook table provided another personal touch. One wedding even featured a stained glass window for a unique twist.

Signature Drinks
Signature drink signage at the bar allows couples to showcase their personalities and make their wedding day more memorable for guests. It’s a simple yet impactful way to add a personal flair to the festivities.

Thoughtful Additions
Thoughtful touches, such as providing warm blankets in baskets at a winter ceremony, add comfort and personality to a wedding. One couple also set up a shelf filled with hand warmers, Kleenex pouches, and wedding programs for guests to pick up on their way to the ceremony space, ensuring everyone felt cared for and welcomed. In addition, the couple placed welcome bags inside of each cabin for overnight guests that included his and her favorite snacks. The perfect way to start their wedding weekend.
