We love our community in Broken Bow and strive to share our small-town with all of our guests whether they’re here for an Oklahoma wedding weekend or just enjoying the quiet life in the Cabins at Holly Creek.

Serving Alcohol During Your Wedding Celebration
- To serve alcohol at your wedding, an Oklahoma ABLE-licensed bartender is required. This helps ensure all alcohol service follows state laws regarding distribution, over-serving, and underage drinking. Even if you plan to offer canned alcoholic beverages only, the bartender must open and hand each drink directly to the guest receiving it. You are welcome to choose your own ABLE-licensed bartender, and we ask that a copy of the license be provided to our venue at your 30-day meeting before the event. We will also share our alcohol guidelines with the bartender before your wedding day.
- For the safety of your guests and the protection of the property, security is required during and after alcohol service. Rustic Rose Hall provides licensed security for a fee of $350, which will be added to the client’s rental costs.
- Alcohol service may begin no earlier than one hour before the ceremony and must end one hour before the event concludes. Service may not last longer than five total hours. Once the first drink is served, the final call time is set, so we encourage you to make sure your bartender is aware of your preferred timeline.
- Shots are not permitted. Hard liquor may be served only in mixed drinks, and kegs are not allowed anywhere on the Cabins of Holly Creek or Rustic Rose Hall property.
- Because our venue does not hold a liquor license, cash bars are not permitted.
- For everyone’s safety, alcohol may not be served to anyone who appears intoxicated. Licensed bartenders will enforce this policy with support from onsite security.
- If excessive drinking creates a safety concern or increases the risk of property damage, bartenders and security may need to close the bar early.
- Alcohol will not be served to minors under any circumstances.
Alcohol in the Getting-Ready Suites
- The bride and groom, along with their wedding party, are welcome to enjoy alcohol in the suites while getting ready; however, according to the Marissa Murrow Act, a bartender is required to serve the alcohol.
- Alcohol allowed in the suites is limited to champagne, beer, and wine. Hard liquor is not permitted in the suites.
- If drinking becomes excessive, security will be called in and the event may be canceled immediately or any intoxicated individual may be asked to leave the property.
